Optimal Safeguarding Centre Of Excellence (Optimal SCOE)
Optimal Safeguarding Centre Of Excellence (Optimal SCOE). aims to provide safeguarding technical advisory and capacity development support to indigenous/local organisations across sectors in the humanitarian and development contexts. We support organisations to develop and implement robust safeguarding and child protection policies, procedures and practices to create safe environments (in Families, Communities, Schools, Organisations) leading to optimal programme/project outcomes for the vulnerable populations or persons they seek to serve i.e. children, young people, and adults at risk.

Safeguarding Centre Of Excellence
Indigenous or local organisations in developing countries are the primary focus of Optimal SCOE to give them access to contextually relevant, quality assured safeguarding services and expertise through an empowering process of meaningful engagements and dialogue, creating a sense of ownership and commitment to act appropriately to Do No Harm.
Optimal SCOE equally supports organisations to manage social and environmental risks and impacts of Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Violence Against Children (VAC) in infrastructural development projects.
